Hunnebo tackar

This lady has obtained a honor award from our little town. The town`s representative congratulates her and gives her a small basrelieve in granite made by myself. I have done this picture approx. year 2005. The motive is inspirated by a work of a medieval monk Olaus Magnus who travelled around Scandinavia and has described everything he has seen. The picture shows a part of our coast of west Sweden. You can see tents that symbolize settlements, dried fish that mean a market place and two big rivers Göta Älv and Nordre Älv as they join together before reaching the sea. In the right corner below is one of the beasts that used to be in the sea at that times.
